Crane failure and troubleshooting (parts)

Forging hook failure and damage status:

1. Fatigue cracks appear on the hook surface. 2. Wear and tear on openings and dangerous sections. 3. Plastic deformation occurs in the opening and bending parts.

Reasons and consequences: 1. Overload, overdue use, material defects. 2. In severe cases, the strength is weakened and the hook is easy to break, causing accidents. 3. Long-term overload and fatigue are caused.

Remedy: 1. If a crack is found, replace it. 2. If the amount of wear exceeds 10% of the dangerous section, replace it. 3. Replace immediately.

 

Failure and damage status of laminated hook (board hook):

1. The hook is deformed. 2. There are fatigue cracks on the surface. 3. The wear of the pin shaft exceeds 3% to 5% of the nominal diameter. 4. The earrings are made of cracks or burrs. 5. The wear of the earring bush reaches 50% of the original thickness

Reasons and consequences: 1. Long-term overload, easy to snap. 2. Overdue, overload, and hook damage. 3. The hook falls off. 4. The earring is broken. 5. Poor stress

Remedy: 1. Replace with a new one. 2. Replace. 3. Replace. 4. Replace. 5. Replace.

 

Wire rope failure and damage status:

1. Broken wires, broken strands, knots, wear.

Reasons and consequences: 1. Sudden disconnection of the rope.

Elimination method: stop using broken strands and knots, broken wire, replace according to standard, wear, replace according to standard.

 

Pulley failure and damage status:

1. The pulley groove is unevenly worn. 2. The wear of the pulley spindle reaches 3% to 5% of the nominal diameter. 3. The pulley does not turn. 4. The pulley is inclined and loose. 5. Pulley cracks or broken rims.

Reasons and consequences: 1. Uneven materials, substandard installation, poor contact between ropes and wheels. 2. The spindle is damaged. 3. The abrasion of the mandrel and the wire rope is increased. 4. The positioning parts on the shaft are loose, or the wire rope skips slots. 5. The pulley is damaged.

Remedy: 1. The wear of the wheel groove wall reaches 1/10 of the original thickness, and the radial wear reaches 1/4 of the rope diameter should be replaced. 2. Replace. 3. Decontamination and maintenance. Strengthen lubrication. 4. The positioning parts on the shaft are loose, or the wire rope skips grooves for maintenance. 5. Replace.

 

Reel failure and damage status:

1. Reel fatigue cracks. 2. The reel shaft and key are worn out. 3. The reel rope is worn by slot-hopping and rope-hopping, and the wear amount is 15%-20% of the original wall thickness.

Reasons and consequences: 1. The reel is broken. 2. The shaft is sheared, causing the heavy object to fall. 3. The strength of the reel is weakened and it is easy to break; the wire rope is entangled chaotically.

Remedy: 1. Replace the reel. 2. Stop using it, and check and repair the shaft key immediately. 3. Replace the reel.

 

Gear failure and damage status:

1. The gear teeth are broken. 2. Gear wear reaches 15% to 25% of the original tooth thickness. 3. Gear cracks. 4. The gear keyway is damaged due to "key rolling". 5. The spalling surface of the tooth surface occupies 30% of the total working area, and the spalling depth reaches 10% of the tooth thickness; the carburized layer of carburized gear wears 80% of the depth.

Reasons and consequences: 1. Shock and vibration occur during work, and continue to use damage to the transmission mechanism. 2. Vibration and abnormal noise during operation are caused by overdue use and incorrect installation. 3. The gear is damaged. 4. Make the hanging weight fall. 5. Overdue use, heat treatment quality problems.

Remedy: 1. Replace with new gears. 2. Replace with new gears. 3. The lifting mechanism should be replaced, and the operating mechanism should be repaired. 4. The lifting mechanism should be replaced, and the operating mechanism can be repaired with a new keyway. 5. Replace. The high-speed gears of the reducer with a peripheral speed> 8m/s should be replaced in pairs when worn.

 

Failure and damage of the drive shaft:

1. Cracks. 2. Shaft bending exceeds 0.5mm/m. 3. The keyway is damaged.

Reasons and consequences: 1. Poor material, improper heat treatment, resulting in damage to the shaft. 2. Cause the journal to wear, affect rotation and produce vibration. 3. Cannot transmit torque.

Remedy: 1. Replace. 2. Replace or correct. 3. The lifting mechanism should be replaced, and the operating mechanism can be repaired and used

 

Running wheel group Fault and damage status:

1. There are fatigue cracks on the tread and the spoke wheel. 2. The tread of the active wheel wears unevenly. 3. Tread wear reaches 15% of the rim thickness. 4. Flange wear reaches 50% of the original thickness

Reasons and consequences: 1. Wheel damage. 2. Causes the wheels to gnaw on the rails, the car body tilts and vibrates when running. 3. The wheel is damaged. 4. It is easy to derail due to the tilt of the car body and the wheel chewing on the track.

Remedy: 1. Replace. 2. Replace in pairs. 3. Replace. 4. Replace.

 

Malfunction and damage of hydraulic brake:

1. There are fatigue cracks on the tie rods. 2. There are fatigue cracks on the spring. 3. The wear of the small shaft and the mandrel reaches 3% to 5% of the nominal diameter. 4. The wear of the brake wheel reaches 1~2mm, or the original wheel flange thickness is 40%~50%. 5. The friction lining of the brake shoe wears up to 2mm.

Reasons and consequences: 1. The brake fails. 2. The brake fails. 3. Can't hold the brake. 4. Lifting down or sliding the car. 5. The brake fails.

Remedy: 1. Replace. 2. Replace. 3. Replace. 4. Re-turning, heat treatment, after turning, ensure that it is more than 50% larger than the original thickness. The brake wheel wear amount of 3 or 50% 40% of the original thickness in the lifting mechanism should be scrapped. 5. Replace the friction plate.

 

Coupling failure and damage status:

1. There are cracks in the coupling half. 2. The connecting bolts and pin holes are worn. 3. The gear teeth of the gear coupling are worn or broken. 4. The keyway is crushed and deformed. 5. The pins, pins, rubber rings, etc. are worn.

Reasons and consequences: 1. The coupling is damaged. 2. Impact and vibration, bolt shearing, lifting mechanism are prone to fall due to impact and vibration during braking. 3. It is caused by lack of lubrication, heavy work, and reverse driving. The coupling is damaged. 4. The key is disconnected and torque cannot be transmitted. 5. Strong shock and vibration are generated when braking.

 

Remedy: 1. Replace. 2. The lifting mechanism should be replaced with new parts, and the operating mechanism should be re-welded and reamed. 3. For the hoisting mechanism, the gear teeth should be replaced when the gear wear reaches 15% of the original thickness. For the operating mechanism, replace when the gear tooth wear reaches 30% of the original tooth thickness. 4. The lifting mechanism should be replaced, and other mechanisms should be repaired and used. 5. Replace worn parts.
